Wedgewood Farm Kennels in Hazeley Heath, Hook

We've had my father-in-law's elderly Staffie-cross in this kennel for a week while my father-in-law is in hospital. We collected the dog this morning to give him some time with us, away from the kennels, to discover that he's running a temperature and staggering, barely able to stand and, the vet thinks, dehydrated. The vet's kept him in for tests, so we called the kennel to explain that he wouldn't be coming back tonight and why. We were then told by someone that he'd messed in his bed a couple of times over the weekend, a very unusual occurrence for any dog but not something the kennel thought worth telling us about, either the first time it happened or when he was collected.

There's no way we'd ever again use a kennel which seems so cavalier in it's attitude to the health of a dog in its 'care'. I'd give it zero stars if possible.

Before I moved to Cornwall last October I had used this kennels for about 5 years whilst away on holiday. I always found the staff to be very friendly and caring. My dogs appeared to be well looked after with no problems when collected. I would recommend the kennels for your pet.
