My 88 year old mum ordered and paid for a Relax Seating Solutions Ltd three piece suite from a local supplier in August 2014 and was promised delivery within 6 weeks.
The suite was delivered in 7 weeks (just 1 week late), but the sofa was the wrong size and was taken back, with the promise from the supplier that they would order a replacement from the manufacturer immediately. We heard nothing for 2 weeks and contacted the supplier, to be told that the sofa would be delivered in 2 weeks time. Apparently, the manufacturer had tried to deliver twice, but each time the transport had broken down.
When the replacement sofa did finally arrive, it too was the wrong size. We spoke to Relax directly at this stage (by now it was the 5th of Nov). They were most apologetic and assured us that the new sofa would be with us on Monday or Tuesday the following week. The new sofa arrived but was again the wrong size. We are now assured that the correct sofa will be delivered on the 20th of Nov, but I am not holding my breath.
Throughout this saga, Relax have appeared totally unconcerned about their failure to meet their promised delivery dates. When we spoke to the Customer Services Manager (who was supposedly dealing with our order) he didn't even know what size sofa had been ordered/delivered.
So if you want a suite and you would like it to be the right one and delivered on time, I would recommend that you do not order from this company.
