Midland Car Removals in Leamington Spa

What an awful company.

I filled in the questionnaire on their website. I received an email, asking what year my car is and what problems it had.

I explained that it's a Chevrolet Kalos, 56 plate, and it has problems with the cooling and ABS. It's been off road with a SORN since failing its MOT in August 2012. I was told it'd cost around £2,800 to repair, so having only paid £2,200 in the first place, I figured it wasn't worth it.
They asked where I was, I replied Tamworth.
They replied £200 cash with free collection.

Now, I didn't realise how good that offer was, Because I spent a while looking for a better deal, and found none. two weeks later, I sent an email asking if the offer was still available.
They replied yes, but the price was now £160. I didn't ask why. It was still £20 better than any other offer I'd received.
On the 4th of December, I said I'd like to accept their offer, and asked if we could organise it for this Friday (06/12/2013). They said yes, and asked for my address, which I provided.

So, I called this morning (friday 06/12) to ask what was happening. The guy on the phone had no idea, but would find out. I called back four hours later. "yeah, I can't get in contact with the other guys".

I left it another two hours and called again. "Sorry, I've not been able to get in contact, can I call you back in 15?" This was at 16:20.

At 17:20, I call again, having received no call. "Sorry, I still can't get in contact. To be honest, £160 is way too high."
"Well how much will you do it for then?"
"£100"

I was that shocked, I hung up.

Don't deal with this company. Don't expect a good response. Don't believe a word they say.
