Not british standard cement used. I was a small contractor that used this company for a basement job i did in shepherd bush. Biggest mistake i ever made. I had cubes made from the concrete suppled and they all failed. The main company who i did the work for, (syntec projects) had cores drilled and sent for testing. Syntec projects can be contacted to verify everything i'm saying is true. When the tests came back, the report said that british standards cement was not used. They said it was some of worst concrete they had seen and would break down in a short time especially in underpins. Had the owner of the company come to site and see the problems for himself and showed him the reports (emailed him the reports also), he was not shocked when we confronted him. I had to break out bases, walls and some underpins and it cost us a fortune and the time it took made us loose our finish date. The owner of easymix croyden said he would help with costs towards fixing all the problims. When he realised i was a small contractor, he backed out of the promise he made and he left me holding the can. He said i could bring him to court as he he had good lawyers and could afford it and that easyjet had tried and failed. This company triess to make people think they are associated with easyjet by using orange lorries. Dont be fooled. The job went so bad and the stress of it has caused me to give up working for myself. I hope no one has to go through what i did. Their use of fake cement is going to cause problems for companies that used them in the future. John Boyle.
