Arranged a boiler service with this man for a Thursday morning for which he did not turn up. I phoned him the following Monday and he offered to do the job the coming Friday. When I politely asked for an explanation of why he had not turned up before he basically told me that he had had some more important work to do. I then asked why he had not at least let me know he wasn't coming as this was just basic courtesy. He responded along the lines that "it was only a boiler service", that he had plenty of work from estate agents, and wouldn't "be spoken to like that" so I could "forget it". He then hung up.
