Karen's Snip Clip "N" Chip in Poole

I was given Karens number by a lady in Waggy Tails charity shop in Parkstone, obviously a very satisfied customer. We (me &my son) have a toy/miniature Yorkshire terrier. We bought him not knowing much about his background and were told he was 1-1&a half years old, making him approximately 4-4&a half years old. My son named him Albert. We found out Albert could be snappy and even prone to nipping. We took Albert to Karen & left him there for about an hour (warning her of his behaviour ).After the hour we returned to find Albert running around on the floor, tail wagging& looking like a new dog. Not only had Karen done a fantastic job but she'd had also endured a nip from Albert and is willing to see him again, a lovely lady in lovely settings from the garden to the immaculate, hygienic place of work.

We met Karen recently and took our puppy Bedlington Terrier to see her for a trim, shape, wash and dry etc. We were so pleased to meet Karen. She was extremely nice and professional, and took a lot of time and trouble to discuss our requirements and advise us and make our puppy feel completely relaxed and happy before she started on her. We left our dog with Karen looking something like a raggy upturned floor mop, (haha) where all her puppy fur was growing out and badly needed trimming and shaping, and returned 90mins later to find an absolutely beautiful looking puppy, beautifully trimmed to highlight her features and really show her off. And she smelt absolutely gorgeous too, with Karens dog cologne on her!. Now, instead of people seeing a Rastafarian on legs, people now recognise her as A Bedlington! And more importantly obviously felt marvellous too, because she was so happy and dancing around, bless her, as though she knew she looked good.! And furthermore, Karen had kept the pieces she had groomed out of her, particularly from her ears, to show us what she had done. Altogether a very professional, relaxed and caring grooming parlour, where dogs are not just shut in cages for hours on end like in some larger grooming organisations. Karen gives one to one care to one dog at a time, but if you own more than one dog and wish to take them altogether to be done, she can accommodate this in an extremely clean and sterile run, just next to the grooming room, so dogs don't feel stressed and pine. All in all an excellent experience, and we are so pleased to have found her, and know that our dogs will now be in good caring hands, not stressing and will be well taken care of and look beautiful. We would have no hesitation in recommending Karen to anyone. Sue and Kev Sanderson...
