I had a long day working in Porthmadog and missed lunch so at about 4.30pm I drove past this place on my way back to the Midlands. I stopped and pulled in, there was no one else in the shop and I asked for fish and chips. Fish will be a few minutes the guy said, no problem as I would rather wait for a freshly cooked fish. I was about 5 minutes down the road in heavy traffic before I opened the package and clocked what he'd had the audacity to serve me. The chips were refried husks from the previous days leftovers but more shockingly he had actually rebattered a previously cooked fish and cooked it again. The batter was about half an inch thick and the fish was a disgusting grey colour throughout. It looked and tasted disgusting and was completely inedible. Bad food is one thing but anyone who has the cheek to serve up what this guy served up to me is just breaching guidelines for safe food preparation and to be frank is conning his customers. Avoid at all costs, the place should be closed down!
