The Chequers in Houghton Regis, Dunstable

Today went to this restaurant for x2 Roasts at around 3pm, got there after a £5 Taxi fare to be told no roasts, having qued for 10mins, went back to Table, chose our 2nd option, Got to the till.. No mixed grill, fuming, I went back to the table and made a 3rd Choice, ordered a Lager and a Lemonade for my Son... No lemonade, I was agitated, and irritated at this point, absolutely fuming in fact, both of us had had to settle for 2nd and 3rd choice, in the Kafuffle I managed to lose a £10 note so all in all an absolute waste of time and money, the Steak was like Rubber (a Zebo), his Burger was dry, ya only had to see the left-overs on other peoples plates too, to realise the food is an absolute disgrace!!! There are much better places to go!!! :(
