Design in Wood Ltd in Darfield, Barnsley

TRULY AWFUL. This is a company I will never do business with again. Contract for two-sides of a summer room. Delivered months late. Still waiting for parts and paperwork months later. Low quality workmanship. Gaping joints. Chipped woodwork. Smudged paint. Wood left planed and un-sanded in places, showing grain. Overall appearance: A framework knocked up on-site and not in a joinery shop. Have spent weeks rectifying the problems. Left out major features listed on the plans. Added other features that weren't on the plans. Demanded £350 extra payment for an "extra" that had been included on the plans from the start. Then listed it as "delivery". Supplied the wrong side of an Espag lock, no lock barrels, no keys, no striker plate. Took weeks to rectify. Abysmal communication. Weeks went by with no contact despite repeated calls and texts. When the phone was answered the replies were rambling and unfocussed. TRULY AWFUL.
