Citident in Ashland, Milton Keynes
Citident
The dentist are great here. . But the receptionist are rude and very unwelcoming. When I always try to ring in the morning to book an appointment I can never get through. And today I tried for 20 mins to get through but is always engaged. So I decided to pop down there to book in person. There were two ladies sitting there.. chatting.. so I said "I need to book an appointment but can't get through to the phones" Then I looked down on the table. The phone was left off the hook. So they purposely left it off so people can't ring in. So I said "oh" while looking at the phone. The lady then said. We only just opened and I'm chatting to this lady here!! Is this really how you run a business? NHS or private? I'm disgusted by her actions.. and response..! Staff now a days have no work ethics..!!
I've been treated by Citident for more than 5 years and I must say they are great, I was suffering from severe tooth ache and they successfully treated me out of pain. My dentist analyzed the x-ray and decided to perform a root canal treatment on the tooth that was causing pain. They also took the time to explain what the issue was and what they were going to do, very reassuring! Things that should be improved, definitely waiting time, I had to wait a few days before being treated and I was feeling a lot of pain, so those days were not pleasant. Overall I would recommend this place.
I registered with this dentist following the recommendation from my neighbour and I'm glad I did. My dentist is always simpathetic, and talks me through all my treatment. I tend to be very anxious and nervous during treatments and this approach goes a long way in helping me relieve my anxiety. I would recommend citident, great practice.
I went to Citident for the first time today to register myself and my 3 children but upon arrival I was horrified by one receptionists attitude towards me. She was extremely rude to me in the way she spoke to me when I entered. I discovered later that she was the lead nurse as well as a receptionist. Her behaviour was totally unacceptable and I have been advised to put in a formal complaint as it's not the first time she has been rude to patients especially first time patients like myself who have no idea how the buzzer system works as you enter. I pressed the buzzer and waited for someone to speak to me through the intercom but no one did and no door sound was heard either. I had no idea the rude receptionist/leadnurse was buzzing me in. When I telephoned the practice to see if they were open she answered me very very sarcastically saying "well I've answered the phone which means we are open"! When I entered she then went onto say that she had been buzzing the door for the last 10 minutes which was a lie. She has no manners whatsoever and needs basic training on how to converse full stop!!
