Brunch'N'Lunch in Failsworth, Manchester

I go here on a regular basis. The specials are really nice and the food is generally of a good standard, but they are very slow in serving and preparing the food. I think the way they operate is the reason why they are so slow. They have salad sandwich's already prepared but if you ask for Ham on it they have to slice the ham and then they take it into the kitchen to put the ham on it. To me it would make far more sense to have all the salad elements in tubs in the fridge counter have all the meats sliced and prepared and to do it in front of the customer. This would reduce the time it takes to serve someone massively and improve their efficiency. Also if you don't want cucumber on your salad they then have to prepare it from scratch in the kitchen which again doesn't make sense, they could just have it in the tubs and make it as the customer requests in front of you. There is nothing wrong with the food, it's the service that lets them down.
