Purchased PTFE spacer and o rings to repair leak £5. (Value about 30p each).

Spout had Failed at top rubber o ring. Position A7 from service drawing.

Reason for failure. Poor design or component failure. Life of Tap 4 years. The Victorian engineers would turn in their grave that this simple kitchen product has been marketed in their name. Less than 1 star.

Quoted cost of component A4 (New Spout) made the taps beyond economical repair. Nearly 100 pounds.

Around 90 percent of a new Monobloc Tap.

Unjustifiable profiteering for spare parts.
