I would never recommend this firm. The guy turned up two hours late, hacked up our Wilton carpet which we had purchased elsewhere in our driveway without putting any plastic protection down on the ground first, he cut the carpet short and it looked like it had been cut with a hacksaw blade leaving the edges jagged in one area. Not only that but he lied to the 91 year old stroke victim occupant that he had properly fitted tracking down around the base of the skirting board to secure the carpet properly. This was an out and out lie. He left the carpet unfixed immediately outside the living room door and the bedroom of the elderly vulnerable disabled occupant putting her at risk of a trip or fall. He spent three hours in our home and said he was waiting for his partner. He sat in his van for 30 minutes drinking presumably tea. He was not fit to work on any carpet laying job and now we are going to seek compensation through the Small Claims Court if he does not refund the £75 charge. We are entitled to claim for the price of the carpet too and on top of everything he refused to take the old carpet and left-overs away making it impossible for either my mother or myself to lift it ourselves to take to the tip. He sweet talked my elderly mother and quite honestly he should be ashamed of himself. Ged Parkinson is the name on the email address which also does not work. Avoid this firm like the plague!
