G & M Lunt Ltd Independent Family Funeral Directors in Sheffield

If I could give 0 stars I would. This funeral director billed me for my mothers funeral but will not release the ashes to myself or any family members. The reason being that a non-family member signed for the funeral due to me living in Newcastle & working full time I was unable to attend to sign paperwork. However, I was still sent the invoice which I paid. I was not notified that the ashes would not be released to me or any one else in the family despite us still being liable for the bill. The ashes now remain in a cupboard at the funeral directors against my mothers wishes. Unhelpful, uncooperative and not a hint of compassion. The non-family member has not made any effort to collect the ashes. The funeral took place December 2013 this review was written in 2015. Avoid at all costs.

I've recently used this company for the funeral of my Aunt and They gave brilliant service I can't recommend them enough.
