Mega Kebab House in Cheshunt, Waltham Cross

Having been a long term customer, I am very disappointed at Mega's reaction to a pick up in custom. I ordered a takeaway for two expecting a bill of around £15, but was charged a shocking £17.60. Worse was the fact that my lamb doner wasn't cooked enough as it was probably the 4th or 5th cut from the spit in quick succession. My wife ordered a special chicken shish which is meant to have green peppers, onions and mushrooms for the princely sum of £7. Her's had no mushrooms, a single piece of green pepper and roasted green chillies. My wife doesn't like hot food and wouldn't have ordered that particular dish if she had known that was what she could expect (she never has chilli sauce), especially as it has never turned up like that in the past. Finally, the food was cold on arrival. I can understand that at busy times (like a Friday night when I ordered) the food is going to take some time as they have to cook orders as they come in, but it is not acceptable that food takes longer and arrives cold because they haven't got enough delivery drivers on and are therefore sending food orders out in groups. As I said, I ordered from Mega for many years and I'm really disappointed at a kebab restaurant that used to be the best in town (from 21 Mylne).
