La Dolce Vita in Camlough, Newry

I found about this place watching Take On The Takeaway on RTE and decided to give it a try, what a wonderful surprise!

Their gourmet pizzas are absolutely delicious, my favourite is Genovese with bacon, red onioin, pesto sauce and roasted pine nuts.

My sister likes Perri Perri (perri perri chicken, pepperoni, roasted peppers, red onion, garlic, chilli peppers).

A must try!

Ordered food from this place to find a long piece of hair lodged into a piece of chicken from a chicken meal that was ordered, that my child choked on.

When rang to complain found staff quite rude and unhelpful. Never be back.

Pizzas are really good, they have traditional toppings as well as their own gourmet pizzas, so you have a lot of choice.
12'' is my size of choice, great value for money. The delivery is fast.
I would thoroughly recommend Dolce Vita.

The woodfired oven makes all the difference in the world, pizzas are much crispier and taste better than with electric ovens. This alone is a good reason to pick this place other pizzarias in the area. Plus, Giuseppe is a nice guy and they also do burgers and kebabs, and those are good too.

Last night we were super hungry and order 3 15'' pizzas, la dolce vita, napoletana, vegetariano.

I was very pleased with my napoletana anchovies and capers is a match made in heaven. My sister really like la dolce vita which is insane, the menu says 'for those who want everything' which is quite accurate, so many toppings! In fact she couldn't finish it but said it was really tasty and I do believe her even if I didn't try it.

The only minor disappointment was the 'vegetariano', bland taste compared to the others.

Anyway, overall we had a positive experience and will be ordering again.
