Envy Tanning and Beauty in Dundonald, Belfast

I went along to Envy in Dundonald after purchasing their individual lash offer on Groupon as a treat for heading abroad for 4 days. On arriving I found the girl at reception so rude and unpleasant. It was such an effort for her to even acknowledge me! I went in and the girl who did the lashes pleasant, full of chat etc. I had no skin test before getting the lashes. After they were applied it took me a good 20minutes to even open my eyes as the lashes had stuck to the bottom row. I was told this was normal. Even after getting them open, with incredible force!, it just felt life they were sticking straight into my eyes, but again, I was told this was normal.
I headed away for the holiday with my eyes the same, the lashes were sticking into my eyes making water stream out of them constantly!
For the whole 4 days I was in pain with them. My top eyelids had now swollen and I had hands up constantly trying to gently brush the lashes off my eyeball.
On returning home I drove to the salon on the Tuesday morning to ask to get them removed. The very unpleasant girl on reception was on again and I was told that the girl who did the lashes only worked Thursday and Friday and for me to come back then. I told her that I was at the stage of going to a&e as the pain was so bad. She said that there wasn't anyone else who did the lashes and I cud take them off myself with baby oil. I then sat for 2 hours in the car outside trying to take the lashes off myself with baby oil, not having a clue what I was doing, as I was now at the stage where my eyes were hurting so much I couldn't have driven!
I had obviously done it wrong! Even tho I'd sat and soaked them for 2 hours! I'm now left with no eyelashes of my own. When they were coming out it was very clear that they had all stuck together at the roots in clumps and that was where the pain and swelling was coming from.
Very very disappointing customer service and aftercare service.
Owner needs to address this.

Visited Envy for the first time this weekend to use the sunbed. The girl at the desk was lovely and very friendly. Told me about an offer on tanning the next day so went back. Haven't tried any treatments but think I will :)

I used envy for years for beauty treatments & sun beds. However, in the last year, it had went down hill so much! Used to have a great wee vibe now the staff are so unpleasant, it's in believable! They can keep their fake gelish & watered down tans! Note to owner get new staff!
