Priory Hotel in Scunthorpe

We went as a group of 14 friends when we arrived they had set tables of fours all apart, when I mentioned this to the barmaid I was told they haven't got room to put 14 together.

This should have been explained when I phoned to book a table, the food was disgraceful, only 4 were happy with their meal, the soft drinks were weak lemonade and blackcurrant was very pale pink, just tasted like lemonade as was the orange. When told we had to pay 20p for another squirt couldn't believe it. The staff were most unhelpful and never once smiled, they watched my friend and myself as we were first there try to set the tables closer together as it was unbelievable how they expected us to sit so far apart. With 14 meals and drinks you would think you would be pleased for our trade and hope to have us return as we meet up once a month, but we will never come back to the Priory again.
