EHG Plastering Ltd in Mickleover, Derby

Let us down badly. We gave him a lot of work and always paid immediately. We waited 3 months for him to come and plaster our upper and lower hall. Emailed us 2 days before start date to say he had a contract job that could not be avoided - no apology. He wanted to come and do our job for 3 days and then disappear for a week.

We said this was not acceptable and did not want to be left in a mess for a week and asked him to start after this. Instead he responded that the other job was going on longer so he didn't want our work. This was after we had been waiting for 3 months. Blamed us for loss of income! Also refused to give us timescale and cost for completing job as too difficult and unpredictable apparently.

He told us that jobs come up at the last minute in the building trade - suggesting we were being unreasonable. Nice way to treat a loyal customer. Maybe our job was just too difficult for him - who knows?
