I bought a ’02 Volvo from these guys on July 1st. Having driven seventy miles home discovered that the handbrake wouldn’t hold it on the slight incline outside my garage. Took it to my local garage as thought it just needed adjusting, but discovered that one calliper was seized but could be released, the other was totally seized up requiring a replacement, needed both sets of pads replacing too. When I contacted G H Motors they just said I should have taken it back to them and refused to reimburse me the cost or even discuss it. They didn’t want to know. This was not a problem that had developed overnight, it was obviously there when they sold the vehicle. On their website they state that “Customer service is very important” and that they “pride ourselves on keeping our customers happy” they obviously have a strange idea of what customer service is all about. I would not advise anyone to buy a vehicle from them. Caveat Emptor – buyer beware.
