Said he would take a deposit on a vehicle, but would have to call me back in ten minutes - I said 'you're not going to call back the other prospective buyer, are you?' he said 'no of course not! I'm off to get a card machine'. He called me back in ten minutes to say he'd called the first guy and he'd bought it.

It could be considered decent to give the first prospector first chance (but he hadn't placed a deposit, so why deny me the vehicle?), but lying about card machines. What else?
