Design and conversion of the barn at America Farm Farm was finished in January 2007 and we've been rockin' ever since. Equipment includes a playstation and wall to wall beany-bags in our cosy upstairs balcony chill-out area. Oh, and there's some recording stuff here too.
The Hideout is aptly named... it's a place where you can step out of normal routine and spend some undisturbed time with us experimenting with your ideas. Inspiration is just outside the door, where you can sit on the fence and see forever over the Welland Valley. It's a no-rush environment where you can really enjoy what you enjoy doing best... recording your work at a place and time that you'll remember forever. It's important to us that you enjoy your experience at the Hideout.
OK, we don't record you on the playstation, so for you techno-boffins the studio is based on Logic Pro on a Mac G5 through an anologue Mackie 32:8 desk with the usual outboard and loads of wirery bits to make it all work. You're welcome to visit us to check us out or we can send you some sample recordings.
If you have something to give to the world, we'll give you the opportunity to present it at the best standard we can.
