I asked for a small lawn to be removed, the ground levelled and a new lawn laid. The quote was quite competitive, on the first day I was told the machinery for removing the turf was broken so they would have to use a rotovator. They did the job over a period of 5 days, but did not turn up at all on two days (phone calls received with excuses/reasons). The ground is quite level but the turf is awful, there are a variety of grasses, different shades of green and poorly cut/laid out. Quite simply, it looks like grass from a variety of fields and nothing like a new lawn. (Photos available).

Poor quality turf that looked like it had come from 5 different fields. Very dry and dying off. The turf wasn't even cut straight and even.
