Jet in Corby
Jet
I have used the Jet petrol station Brobot at Southern Gateway to fuel my motorcycles and cars ever since they opened.
Today I rode into the station to fuel my mc, holding the nozzle in the tank ready, then I heard a woman bellow through a tannoy telling me to remove my mc helmet. I have never been asked this before at this station or any other I visit, presumeably due to the fact that anyone can see my face and ID as I wear a flip up helmet and raise the front of it on every visit when fueling.
I feel this is discrimination against certain motorcyclists and I don't wish to remove parts of my clothing for no apparent reason.
I would like a plausable explaination as to why a virtually open faced helmet which shows ones full face needs to be removed from ones head to put fuel into a mc.
It can't be for ID as the full face is visible.
