Papa's Barn Restaurant in Ditton, Aylesford

Their reputation is absolutely well deserved, this is by far one of the best fish and chip in the area. I guess fresh ingredients and buying from billingsgate market have their cost, but this is definitely not the most affordable of fish and chips. So if you are looking to eat a great fish and chips, different from what you can find in a standard place, maybe out of pure curiosity, go to Papas, otherwise you're good with some cheaper alternatives.

I travel from Ashford only to taste their delicious fish and chips. Yep, that's so good! I also love the friendly atmosphere, and the staff is always polite.

Fish and chips 5 stars but the place was really noisy, not relaxing at all, sound of cutlery was reverberating and creating noise, and everybody was speaking up as a result. Also, prices are a bit high for fish and chips, and if you add drinks, starter and dessert you should allow about £18-22 for a meal. Definitely not cheap.

£6 90 for cod and chips, plus roll and peas plus coffee was excellent value for money. The restaurant is very clean and modern and the staff are lovely.

Piping hot tasty food. Staff are friendly and place is spotless. It was our first visit to Papa's restaurant but won't be our last, we'll be returning soon!

Papas fish & chips is absolutely fabulous! By far the best I've ever eaten. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals, 1st class food and the service was outstanding.

I tend to judge fish and chips places from their chips. The ones I had at papas were excellent, not soggy at all. Recommended.

This place is a must for anyone living in this part of Kent!
My wife and I visited for an evening meal, based on a friend's recommendation. The waitress was very friendly and the food excellent and tasty. The haddock was delicious. We'll be back.

Fish & chips expertly cooked and well presented. Staff are very friendly. A bit expensive, but 'quality has its price' certainly aplies to Papa's Barns. I would strongly recommend visiting this place, you won't regret it.
