Computer Law Training Limited is a small (friendly) company based in central Scotland. It was established in 2010 with the aim of helping clients achieve their compliance with data protection laws by providing cost effective, no-nonsense training and support.
We are conveniently located for Edinburgh, Glasgow and the rest of central Scotland, but easily provide services across the whole of the UK.
At Computer Law Training we strongly believe that, in both of these areas, apart from the obvious benefits of avoiding problems with the law, it makes good business sense to build customer confidence by, at the very least, complying with the law. Even better, go beyond the legal requirements and conform to best practice. In many cases the main data protection issues are easily resolved. Currently, small businesses generally pay little attention to the problems and issues around data protection. The ICO has been paying more attention to the small business sector. Accordingly, taking a risk management approach, it becomes quite straightforward to address the majority of data protection problems.
