Hopwood House in Birmingham

I visited this pub with two others last Saturday 29 Oct '16 for a birthday meal and was very impressed by the new refurbishment scheme carried out in Feb 2016 which I hadn't seen before, my last visit having been last year.
The makeover has been so extensive to the point that it's barely recognizable. The surroundings are very pleasurable to dine out in now.
We decided The Hopwood Inn will be our dining-out choice from now on.
The meals were pleasing and enjoyable enough, but they had run out of a 1st and 2nd choice meat selection which meant one person in the party having to make a third choice, otherwise we enjoyed the experience.
