Alison Ridgway at Basford Hearing Care in Newcastle

Had three pleasant experiences, where staff were friendly and professional. Unfortunately today, on our fourth visit, the lady carrying out the hearing test (who I believe to be the owner) was very rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. As the mother of a four year old having a hearing test, I felt it appropriate to ask some questions about the findings of the ear examination and hearing test, in order to determine the best course of action for my daughter. Surprisingly this was interpreted as me being critical and doubtful of the lady's ability, despite me asking questions in a calm manner. She took great offence at my questioning, and seemed not to be able to understand that I was simply after some clarity so I could best support my four year old. After three positive encounters, this fourth one proved to be extremely disappointing and quite distressing. Needless to say we will not be returning (and nor do I think we'd be welcome).
