At Vega K9 Academy our mission is to provide owners with the knowledge and skills to develop a healthy balanced relationship with their dog. We promote responsible dog ownership in conjunction with Argyll and Bute council and pledge to only ever use science based, kind, hands off training methods.
We provide fun, reward based training. We don't lure or bribe our dogs, we teach them. All our training is science based no witchcraft, folk law or voodoo here.
At Vega K9 Academy the most important lesson you and your dog will learn is how to develop a secure bond with each other. This bond is the key to making training fun for both dog and owner.
We train mostly outdoors in realistic everyday environments only venturing indoors when necessary. This method of outdoor training allows owners to effectively transfer the skills built up in class to everyday life.
