I provide a fun, friendly and relaxed environment for those wanting to learn to sing and perform with confidence!
I have over 10 years of vocal teaching experience, providing one to one lessons and workshops. I previously studied at the Nexus Music Academy in Coventry in the year 2000 and went on to teach private lessons for people of all ages and abilities.
I have many years of studio, performance and industry experience as a member of the signed band 'Portland' and previously for the soul band The New Disciples. I have also provided vocals for Jingles for TV and Disney and performed live on the Bob Harris Show on Radio 2.
I am passionate about finding the voice within and helping each student build their confidence as a performer. As a technique based teacher i believe that we all have the ability to sing, we just need to use the correct tools such as how to breathe correctly and where to place the sound. Each class is designed to meet the needs of the student. I have personally trained many beginner students who cannot sing a note and within 1 or 2 lessons are able to sing scales and songs! It really is possible with the right teacher and applying the correct techniques so why not give it a try.
