The Brigades of the 1st Loughborough Company are active uniformed organisations that enjoys activities like camp inter-company Tournaments, life skills etc also are joint as a drum and Bugle band which are active year round with events and Parades.
The Mission Statement was adopted by Brigade Council on 4th September 1999. The Boys' Brigade will care for and challenge young people for life through a programme of informal education underpinned by the Christian faith.
Four Sections of age groups, Anchors, Juniors, Company and Seniors, starting age 5.
The Boys' Brigade has been around for over 125 years and in 2008 we celebrated our 125th Anniversary. Our Founder Sir William Alexander Smith, included in our Object "The Promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness" and that has not been changed.
