Vehicle Check has been designed to let drivers perform a vehicle check using android, iPhone Linux and Windows and will make the task of managing paperwork easier. The idea of this app is to reduce a company’s paper trail while giving company’s the option to print reports when they want them. By storing reports in the cloud, you are freeing up valuable storage room which can be used for other things.
To use this software companies can contact us using email through our website to discuss a plan.
Your drivers will fill in a report at the start of shift using a device. They will be given the chance to select a specific type of vehicle i.e., an HGV or car. They will then answer a series of questions with Yes, No, NA, The admin will be able to view the reports by logging in to a web browser.
You can view reports in Excel, PDF or print them off in the same fashion as you would read from a defect book.
An Admin or garage technician will be able to view images a driver has sent of a defect and save them to your own personal storage device.
It’s possible your driver will get a defect before the shift finishes. If this happens, they can login to the app, select the type of vehicle and press the update defect button. This will allow them to send a message which the Admin and garage technician can access. The idea was to save the driver time so they do not have to fill out another report. The message when they send it will show the drivers name, registration, date, time and a trailer number if applicable.
The service section of the software will allow a company to record a date for MOT, Service next to either a registration plate or trailer number.
Your driver may not have internet where they are. This is fine they can perform an offline check and upload it later.
