Joules Productions is a recording studio established over a decade ago by London music producer and musician, Julian Chown (Universal Publishing) in Londons famous Kings Road, Chelsea. Whatever music style you like to record, Julian does it professionally with his vast music performance background and technical know-how, combined with working closely with other industry professionals.
Music production is similar to cooking where the best chefs know exactly what goes into a tasty dish. With a healthy background in music performance, theory and technology, Julian writes and performs with detail in order to produce for the genre in mind. Often combining his ideas with other performers, including - Guitarist: Ian Barter (Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith), Vocalist: Valerie M (Groove Armada, Freesylers), Vocalist: Craig Walker (Archive, Power of Dreams, Mineral), Drummer: Clive Jenner (Proclaimers, Groove Armada, Tom McRae, Freestylers), Guitarist: Mark Sullivan (Ray Charles), Percussionist: Kofi (Jamiroquai) and many others.
The Chelsea recording studio is equipped with classic and modern day recording equipment, to compliment all song-writing styles at Radio and TV quality. For band recordings, Joules Productions has joined forces with Studio 2 for large band studio recordings.
