'Golden Arrow' were established in 1979, initially as a kit-building service attached to a local model shop. Before long, the first range of kits were designed, after which the business started to trade independently, appearing at model exhibitions around the southern parts of England. Hand-building & specialist painting of model railway items remains at the core of the business, but an expanding range of locomotive kits is now available for the hobbyist to construct at home, together with a range of useful accessories, including etched nameplates for narrow-gauge, industrial & light railway subjects, together with cast metal detailing components. One-off turnings for small brass components can also be produced, together with a full patternmaking & design service for customers wishing to produce their own kits.
