Guardian Recovery Ltd in Preston

Not even 1 star. Asked me to pay over £900 upfront for debt recovery, assured that they would work tirelessly to recover the money I was owed. Reality was that they did very little, I called their offices daily over a 3 week period for an update, no reply. My 'case handler' never returned my calls. My debtor then contacted me directly, we negotiated and he paid me the original debt of £10,000. Guardian Recovery got wind of this they sprang in to life, demanding I forward the payment on to them, threatening me with legal action. Long story short they then sent me an invoice for over £5000 for lost commission! I should report them to the police for attempted robbery. This invoice was followed by constant calls chasing, in some cases 10 calls a day from a very rude and unprofessional individual called Carl Ahmed. I specifically asked him to communicate via email but the calls kept on coming, beware!

I used this company for collection of a debt and paid them for the privilege £800
They collected the debt of £700 in February 2015 it is now September and still haven't forwarded me the money. Every time we contact them they say they will ring us in 30 minutes and can't understand why we have not been paid. They never ring back, ignore all emails and avoid all contact with us. The fsa are now looking into this company for fraud. Good luck if you deal with them.

We are having the same problem with them. Fobbed off when we ring as they will ring back (but they never do) and still owe us money paid in February from 2 clients. Will report them to the fsa as well.
