For Bute is a charity set up to benefit people and organisations on the Isle of Bute. 100% of profits go to supported local good causes, and since March 2013, the charity has raised almost £40,000.
For Bute runs a good-quality community thrift store on the front in Rothesay and during the summers it runs the Potting Shed Tearoom at the Ardencraig Gardens, also in Rothesay.
The shop and tearoom are staffed by volunteers. The thrift store is open Mon-Sat 10am to 4pm.
