Rising young British Baritone Nicholas Morton Nicholas is studying at the Royal College of Music International Opera School with Tim Evans-Jones. He previously studied at Durham University, before arriving in London where he completed his postgraduate studies at the RCM with distinction. Recent roles include Doctor Falke ‘Die Fledermaus’ (RCMIOS) the title role in ‘Don Giovanni’ (Rye Festival) Sid ‘Albert Herring’ (RCMIOS), Erasto ‘Giove in Argo’ (London Handel Festival), Der Sprecher ‘Die Zauberflote’, L’horloge comtoise and Le Chat ‘L’enfant et les Sortileges’, Filippo ‘La Gazzetta’ (RCMIOS) as well as cover Truffaldino ‘The Little Green Swallow’ (BYO). He also created the role of The Architect 'Serpentine; the analysis of beauty’ for an RCM collaboration with Tête à Tête. Upcoming roles include Guglielmo in workshops with Sir Thomas Allen and Peter in RCMIOS’ production of Hänsel und Gretel.
