I live just up the road from this newsagents. Not only does it not stay open long enough (I thought all traders that sell lottery tickets had to stay open to a certain time well at least till 7 pm). I have gone to this shop many times at 6 pm and they are always shut!
My friends children went in there yesterday, one of them picked a packet of Haribo Moams up and immediately was shouted at by the female owner of the shop bellowing your paying for that as you picked it up. She was so upset and took a£1 coin out of her purse to pay for them with the £1 she was given by her mother! This is outrageous behaviour from a grown adult that is also rude to other people!!
Then today 2 children aged 9 and 11 went into the shop and were allowed to buy energy drinks. Now I am diabetic and know I should not drink them but this obnoxious woman allowed them to buy the drinks and she is the same so called adult in charge of sales in a retail shop that says a child must pay for something if it is picked up. These drinks should never have been sold to them!
When I have finished this post I will be notifying the authorities and hope that this insidious woman is bought to task by them!
I have also contacted the national lottery about their opening hours for the sale of lottery tickets before the allotted time of the lottery draw! I am only giving one star as I could not post my review without ticking at least one!
