They came to change the electric meter without prior notice. After their visit, the internet router stopped working. We received a letter one week later informing us that EDF are going to change our meter, advising us to unplug any sensitive equipment prior to the visit. That would have been nice to know one week earlier! We spoke to EDF and they deny any responsibility. Now, what am I supposed to do? A new decent router is certainly not cheap...
Would give a zero star review if this were possible. I wrote to EDF two weeks ago querying their bill which was at least twice what it should have been based on the meter readings. No response. No follow-up whatsoever, and they just keep making new demands by email - threatening ones. Their 'Customer Service' never seems to be contactable - they just don't pick up the phone. Would give a lot to be a customer of Ecotricity or Octopus. Sadly I'm an EDF customer but not by choice - we have just moved in to a house that had an EDF account. Impossible to change suppliers at the moment. As soon as it is possible I am outta here. What appalling service.
