BCL is a UKAS accredited laboratory and consists of two distinct sections; Chemistry and Building Investigation, which incorporate a range of scientific & engineering disciplines. The Building Investigation Section undertakes work which includes the Testing and Investigation of Buildings, Structures, Construction Materials, Asbestos Surveys, Asbestos Identification and Asbestos Clearance Certification. The Chemistry Section undertakes work in the fields of Toxicology, Food Examination & Testing, Environmental Analysis, Chemical Analysis of Building Materials & Components.
