Perton Sandown First School in Perton, Wolverhampton

This school is a joke at the moment. Wednesday the 10/05/17 they pulled my son from the dinner line because his account was just $12 in arrears. They made him stand there in front of every child that was in there.
They could not get hold of the mother, so they rang the father that was working away to say that the child could not have a dinner. After the father got hold of the mother, who was also at work, she was made to come out of work to go to the post office and pay. So she did that. Then they still said the child could not have a dinner until the mother had come to the school with the receipt for proof of payment.
By then the dinner time was over. Then we heard from the child, it was that bad, that a teacher was trying to sneak a piece of fruit out for the child without the headmistress knowing. All that they had to do was give the child a meal and sort with the parents out of hours, but no. They had to shame an 8-year-old child which now could start bullying.
I would never bring my child to this school while miss Battleaxe is there (aka the headmistress). Really good teachers have left because of her. Get her out. Otherwise, the school is going down and down. She's stuck in 1920 because she's 95, she doesn't understand children of today and their needs. Thanks for reading.
