A total scammer. Donnovan Webley came to look at our fridge. He felt the temperature with his hand, without using any devices to do any test or check, then decided the compressor was not working. He quoted £553+£100 labour to replace it. The whole diagnose took less than 5 minutes and so unreliable. We decided not to go for it. He requested £50 call out fee which was a complete rip off. The usual price is £15-20. We got another company came to check the fridge. The compressor is working fine, only the small parts needs to be replaced. It cost £150 to get it fixed. We only find out later that Donnovan Webley doesn’t have the proper license/certificate to repair the machine. We requested the £50 back but he said he has been doing this for a long time. He had never heard of that he needs a certain certificate to do the job. Donnovan Webley is a scammer tried to get a fortune from you. We reported him to Trading Standards. Hopefully they will do something about it.
