John Hollingsworth & Son Ltd in Birmingham

In December 2013 I purchased for my son a cut throat razor plus accessories to the tune of 225.00 pnd. In February i had to return it as it went blunt. Yes blunt. After 3 days we had to ring the shop & see what was going on to be told it had been misused which it has NOT and that it had to go back to Germany where they buy them from as they can't get it sorted here in UK. I asked for a replacement or credit note to be told that NO until they find out what's wrong with it they wont do nothing. I told the manager in no uncertain terms that I would put everyone off that I could from buying anything in this shop again as when you buy this kind of item it's supposed to last for years and years and years, not 2 months, and the old man was adamant its been misused. when i bought the blade he never told me that if anything went wrong it would have to go back there.
So please please please do not buy anything other than tobacco from here as you will be most disappointed as I am as now I'm not only out of pocket 225.00 but my son is without a proper shave. So leave this shop well alone as their customer service is 100 years old.
