UK Assistance in Maidenbower, Crawley

My hssband had to go through UK Assistance due to Churchill insurance telling me to have it done by them. They broke the handle of the passenger door and blamed it on wear and tear.

Atrocious service and an insurance rip-off repair cost that would have more than paid for a complete replacement car of the same age (2 years old)! We have some accident repair work done which, ten weeks later, has still not been completed properly. We cannot get in touch with them by e-mail because their system is constantly down and they do not return calls when they promise to. Diabolical - we have written to our insurers (Direct lIne) to tell them that their nominated company is so poor and that they are being ripped off on the cost.

My MX5 was damaged in a "no fault" accident. It was picked up from my home address and returned after it had been repaired. The people I spoke to were extremely helpful and kept me up to date with the progress of the repairs. I think I spoke to Thomas and Terry; thank you very much both of you. Incidentally the claim was dealt with efficiently by the third party's insurer Direct Line.

UK Assistance fixed my car OK, but it was through insurance, so I don't know what they charged, however, they also took the 10 pound coins I had in my centre console!
