Edith Higham Florist in Birchwood, Warrington

Ordered an arrangement from this awful florist 3 days in advance for a family funeral. When the display arrived not only was it not what was ordered but also of poor quality. Rang to to speak to florist who told me that she had spent all day Saturday making it and therefore (somehow) I should be thankful and that the flowers I saw advertised on the Edith Higham/Poyntons and Interflora website was something they didn't do. If that was the case then as a customer I fail to understand why they hadn't informed me of this before taking payment of a £100!
I spoke to Interflora who assured me that I will hear from Edith herself in the next 24hrs. I have just got off the phone to her and I'm left absolutely shell-shocked by her rude, arrogant and totally unprofessional manner. The women literally screamed down the phone and that the display may not have been what I ordered but was nevertheless and beautiful display. She didn't even let me explain that this was not what I was complaining about but the fact that it was NOT what I had ordered and if it's not something they could have provided then I should have been told. They had 3 days to contact me to check if I still wanted to continue with my order.
When I asked if she could give this to me in writing that they as florist working in conjunction with interflora could not provide what interflora are advertising she screamed that she was too busy to do that, made very personal comments and told me to do what I like and hung up!! I didn't want to give this business any stars but unfortunately
Moral of this story....Pls do not use Edith Higham Florist. The customer service is atrocious and their attitude stinks!
