A friend of mine referred me to this place. I visited while in Romiley and had a lovely time chatting with other ladies. Definitely plan to come back soon. Well done Knitters!

My Aunty and I visited knitters this week to find a pattern for a cardigan for my son - 19 months. We found some online but thought it better to support local businesses and shop here - i wont be doing this again! We walked in to an entirely empty shop bar the owner at till and closed the open door behind us as we had my toddler with us walking and wanted to browse without him making escape, as we turned to the owner she said "i think you will find the door was open!!!" So i explained why i had closed it, apologised and expected this to be exceptable for our 2 minute visit - no, shop owner tutted, glared at my son and rolled her eyes to reply "well fine but it was open because i wanted it open!!" This made us feel very unwelcome, very unwanted and we regretted stepping foot inside, we bought one pattern and left, we would have bought wool and other bits too but after this we felt like spending our money else where! Also anything but patterns here are very pricey, id recommend going elsewhere unless you like service without a smile.
