Highly recommended local SW14 joiner & carpenter David Hillier took my old offcut of iroko hardwood yesterday & today has expertly turned it on his lathe into a beautifully crafted replacement handle for an old fashioned garden roller - all for just £25 for a full hour's craftsmanship, following a free site visit.

As a former apprentice Harrods shop-fitter, now with decades of woodworking experience, David's both a lovely gentleman to deal with & clearly a treasure of a rare local craftsman too.

Very happy to highly recommend to others - we'll definitely use him again!
