At Garden World Nurseries in Cookstown we grow most of our own plants. We make up a wide range of seasonal pots and hanging baskets as well as buying others from local nurseries.
Proprietor Alan Thompson studied at NUU and Greenmount College and prior to opening Garden World Nurseries worked at the National Trust owned Baronscourt Nurseries and was a tutor at Parkamour College. He is currently on the committee of Castlecaulfield Horticultural Society involved in Ulster in Bloom. Alan also writes gardening articles for local magazines passing on his 30 years experience.
