Mayflower Chinese Takeaway in Measham, Swadlincote

I wanted to take this time, to write a review about this takeaway. I called to order, and made it clear I was a new customer, considering changing from my usual takeaway.

The food was nothing like it should have been. Called then to say how disappointed I was with the food and service. One would think they would be interested as I had told them I was a new customer. I was told "Darling, everyone has their own likes and dislikes".

Customer service, response to complains and tone was appalling, not even an offer to provide an alternative or money back. I wanted to give this a 0 star rate, but unable to do so...

After using there delivery service for over 8 years, on this 1 time I felt that I needed to call and complain about the food. There was far too much salt in my chicken curry, in fact I only managed two mouth full's.

So on calling and speaking to a Chinese lady, she put me on to an English lady, in fact it was the lady that delivered my food.

She was very protective of the company and would not have in any way anything said bad about the food, she even insisted that they do not in any way or form use salt in any food served from there.

Her customer service was well below a zero, and did not wont to listen, or even offer a long time customer a replacement meal. She just said "I don't have to listen to this" and put the phone down.
