Vehicle went in with suspected turbo problem (Lack of power) with an initial request from the garage suggesting they wanted to inspect the turbo prior to fitting a replacement. This was agreed, and I dropped the vehicle off the night before as suggested so the garage had the vehicle from early morning onwards. Late morning, I rang them to learn they had test driven and couldn't find fault with turbo, and would spend a little time with little cost suggested to carry out relevant checks. The receptionist informed me (without my agreement) that they had stripped the EGR to clean it, and had ordered air filter fuel filter diesel flush, but again no communication from garage, and 2 other garages had condemned turbo, so a tall order in my opinion to suggest that the turbo was working as it should! A £150 later mostly for labour costs, and garage wouldn't disclose what there next steps would be had I agreed to leave the vehicle with them as they said they needed more time to diagnose!? :(
